I would like to share my experience and learning points in the department of general medicine.
In the course of internship in General Medicine, I learned how to take detailed medical histories, perform physical examinations, and interpret diagnostic tests to assess patient’s health status including learning how to formulate differential diagnoses and create management plans.

ICU duties
1. Inserted ryles tube
2. Inserted foleys catheter
3. CPR done in cardiac arrest patients twice
4. Took ABG samples and other venous blood samples for routine blood investigations
5.Watched central line procedure
6. Monitored vitals of the patients.
7. Inserted cannula
Nephrology duty :
I have come to know the Importance of Dialysis in CKD patients
Monitored the Patients Undergoing Dialysis
Assisted in Central line insertions and Have done Central line suturing
Have come to know the indications of hemodialysis
Ward duties:-
1.Took History and Examination of admitted cases
2. Helped our long distance patients by taking them to referrals
3. Monitored vitals of the patients
4.Took samples of admitted cases
5. Inserted IV cannula and foleys catheter
Psychiatry:-
1. Learnt how to take history taking in psychiatry
2. Seen cases of alcohol withdrawal syndrome
3. Seen cases of depression
4. Seen case of schizophrenia
5. Seen case of obsessive compulsive disorder
